We’re Getting Giddy From All These Kudos…
2016 was a pretty great year, and 2017 is shaping up to blow it right out of the water. We’re typically not ones to toot our own horn, but how can we not share all this exciting news?
2017 Top Contractor
For starters, we’re thrilled to have been named a Top Contractor by Pavement Maintenance and Reconstruction™ for the second year in a row! Pavement Maintenance and Reconstruction™ is the leading publication serving contractors in the paving, sealcoating, pavement marking, and sweeping industries, and is the only BPA-audited magazine covering this industry segment. So…this is kind of a big deal.
Each year (since 2014), they conduct an extensive survey, open to all contractors in the paving and paving maintenance industries. Their aim is to set the industry benchmark and determine the top-selling contractors in Paving, Sealcoating, Striping, and Pavement Repair. This year, they limited the list to the top 50 companies in each category, and Black Diamond made the cut!
For 2017, we were ranked among the top companies—nationally—in two of their five categories: Paving and Sealcoating. You can read all about it in the June/July issue of the magazine, as well as online at ForConstructionPros.com.
Diamond Certified
For yet another year, we have achieved the Highest in Quality rating from Diamond Certified—the most accurate and trusted rating process in the state of California. This marks our 10th consecutive year to receive this honor. 98% of our (randomly surveyed) customers say they’d work with us again, and over half of them scored us as a perfect 10. Not too shabby!
People Love Us on Yelp
We were trying so hard not to gloat over the Top Contractor and Diamond Certified kudos…and then Yelp contacted us to let us know just how much we’re regarded on their esteemed site. We’ve officially received the coveted “People Love Us on Yelp” award for 2017!
All this recognition has certainly set our heads spinning. But I guess we should show a little humility…we couldn’t have gotten where we are without the continued support of our wonderful customers. Without your loyalty, feedback, and kind reviews, none of this would have come to pass.
