STONERIDGE #6 – ASPHALT REHABILIATION – RAIN DELAY

PROJECT UPDATE – RAIN DELAY FOR YELLOW SECTION

Due to the upcoming rains in the forecast for tomorrow Tuesday November 9th, the Yellow section has been re-scheduled and will be performed on Saturday November 13th.  Paving when the roads are wet can lead to serious quality issues.  The crews may still perform some of the prep work in the blue section as planned.  Please see the site map and instructions below.

ASPHALT OVERLAY  –  ROAD CLOSURES & PARKING RESTRICTIONS PER COLOR PHASE MAP

STARTS: MONDAY NOVEMBER 8th – FRIDAY NOVEMBER 12th – (weekday project days – No weekend work)

Start Time at 7:00 am – 7:30 pm (weekdays only)

Stoneridge #6 HOA will undergo an asphalt overlay to the entire roadway to fortify and extend the life of your roads.  This work is necessary to properly maintain the roads within the community and will keep them looking great.  Black Diamond Paving, our asphalt contractor, will also post this notice and all future updates on the website www.MyPavingProject.com  This website will contain detailed instructions, Map and Closure Updates and contact information.

Please check the website regularly as it will contain information on any early openings, delays and expected completion times. The project will be intrusive and require the use of heavy equipment and will take  5 working days to fully complete.  Notice Banners will be placed at each entry as a reminder.

We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding regarding this project, its timing and phases.  The crew performing the work is awesome and very helpful but will require your patience so that they can get the job done as seamlessly and as quickly as possible.

Banner Example: 2′ x 6′ vinyl sign attached to or near the entry gates.

UPDATED PROJECT MAP: A Color Map is included on the back of this notice and on this website – Study the map to better understand the closures within the community.

What to Expect Before and After the Project Starts:

  • If you have any work being performed to your homes while this project is underway, please inform your contractors as they will not be able to bring their vehicles or materials to your property when the road is closed.
  • Inform your Landscapers that they will not be able to access your property on the days the work is in progress or when the road is closed to street parking.
  • Your irrigation systems must be turned off 24 hours prior to the start of the project and can be turned back on 24 hours after your section of road is complete and open.
  • You will be able to access your homes at all times during the project by foot.  Use the concrete walkways and ask the crew for help if needed.
  • If you do not expect to travel on the day your section of the road is closed, you may leave your cars parked in your garage or on your driveways.  If you decide to leave your car in your driveway, please allow a minimum clearance of 8 feet from the road. Please note, by doing so, your cars may get dusty.  The crews will not wash your cars.
  • There will be no trash pickup the week of the project and will resume the following week – Please plan in advance if you expect very full bins this week.
  • Black Diamond Paving has placed No Parking & Road Closed signs within the community and will clearly mark out the phase locations using white paint on the road. Signs will clearly state the road closure information and times.  The information posted on them may change thus, please check them regularly.
  • There will be no parking allowed in the section where work is being performed as well as the section scheduled for the following day.  i.e. Roads Closed in Green Section – No Parking in the Pink Section.
  • You will not be able to re-enter the closed section of the community until all barricades have been removed by a Black Diamond Paving representative.
  • Plan to move your vehicles to a legal parking space outside of the work area the night prior to the work starting to avoid getting stuck
  • The Management Company or Black Diamond Paving will not be able to tell you where to park your cars on the nights where your section will be closed. Please seek street parking and pay attention to all laws and signs.
  • Remember that any vehicles left parked on the roadways or in parking areas that are to be closed will be towed at the owner’s expense.
  • “Pardon our Dust” The entire project process will create dust and will be a dirty process – It is advisable to keep your windows closed, cars parked away from work areas especially if you are sensitive to the dust and noise. Black Diamond Paving nor the Association will be responsible for cleaning the interior of homes, garages or providing car washes due to dust caused from construction.
